The Development Society of Santa Cruz de Tenerife is the municipal agency responsible for promoting the city’s economic, tourism and social development. Santa Cruz de Tenerife's Tourism Sustainability Plan for Destinations

This project froms part of the Tourism Sustainability Plan for Destinations (PSTD) of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, financed through the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan (PRTR-NextGenerationEU). It provides a strategic opportunity to reinforce the city’s tourism positioning and advance the modernisation and competitiveness of the tourism sector.

Under the initiative "Competitive improvement and tourist reconversion of the coastline of Santa Cruz de Tenerife", the project supports a transition towards an urban model that is open to the sea, sustainable, digital and focused on authentic experiences.

Nautical Tourism and Coastal Leisure Product Club

The Nautical and Active Coastal Tourism Product Club brings together professionals from the tourism and nautical sectors of Santa Cruz de Tenerife with the aim of jointly promoting a unified portfolio of experiences under a shared brand. These experiences are connected to the sea, water sports and coastal life, and are developed in accordance with principles of sustainability, inclusion, environmental responsibility and quality, fully aligned with the destination’s tourism strategy.

The Club serves as a platform for sustainable, experience-based tourism that strengthens the connection between the city and the sea. It is designed for visitors seeking accessible, safe and low-impact activities linked to active leisure, coastal culture and environmental awareness. The Nature and Living Culture Tourism Product Club brings together professionals from the tourism and cultural sectors of Santa Cruz de Tenerife with the aim of jointly promoting a curated portfolio of experiences under a shared brand.
